I recently launched my newest project, it’s an Article Directory powered by WordPress. As the title suggests, it is an article directory using a WordPress blog engine, I took advantage of WordPress’ popularity and ease of use, besides it being SEO friendly.
This WordPress Powered Article Directory is now live and anyone can register and submit articles on the listed categories.

I recently blogged about the plans of holding WordPress WordCamp Philippines 2009 soon, well you can now mark your calendar and leave 19th of September 2009 for the date.
The WordCamp Philippines website officially announced that the date is set for this year’s WordCamp on September 19, 2009 (Saturday).
Well, I guess I’ll see you there!

WordPress 2.8 Release 1 is now complete and ready for download, developers are encouraging current users to download the current release for testing.
Should there be no bug reports, WordPress 2.8 will be available for official release on the 10th of June 2009. You can check out the changes made from beta 2 release by checking the changelog.

It’s the time of year that most of my domains are expiring, some of those were registered using name.com domain registration service. Good thing that there are promo codes that let you get some discount.
For those who are renewing their domains, you can use EATATCHANS and get $0.90 less from your renewal fee.

After careful consideration, we have decided to shutdown the BlogRush service. If you have the widget code on your blog you will need to remove it.
When BlogRush launched in late-2007 it spread like wildfire all over the Web. Thousands of bloggers were talking about it and the service exploded to become one of the fastest growing free services in the history of the Web. WooThemes recently launched a $3000 tagged as WooContest – Submit your design and win!, the contest will run from October 3 to 31, 2008.
The theme design contest grand winner will receive $2,000 and a 6 months develop license while the runner up will win $1,000 and 3 months develop license. The contest rules are as follows:
- The design must be created in Photoshop, Fireworks or Illustrator format.
- The website container must have a width of between 940 and 980 pixels, catering for the average 1024 X 768 user.
- The entries must be submitted to the WooThemes Flickr pool in jpeg or png format and tagged “Woocontest”.
Your submission on Flickr must include:
- Your name and any URL you would like linked to in case you win.
