Ten years ago, I had a chance to visit the beautiful island of Palawan. It was a tiring yet exciting Superferry ride from Manila to Puerto Princesa, the people as always are accommodating & hospitable.
Our first stop was a visit at the Palawan Museum & a wildlife zoo (demn I forgot the name), after the zoo & museum trip, we did some shopping & city trekking.
After the shopping & all, it’s now time to see the beautiful Puerto Princesa Underground river, we opted for the boat ride, the land trekking would take us half a day before we can reach the spot.
The cave/river was fascinating, I can still remember every details of rock formations inside it. The next day, we visited the Crocodile Farming Institute & the Iwahig Penal Colony, before finally heading to the workshop site in Aborlan, Palawan.
It was a travel worth remembering, I always wanted to come back & visit this place I once called a paradise. There’s a lot of place in the Philippines that I can consider as paradise, but Palawan will be on top.
