Paradise Philippines Ranking Update

Last night, I checked my current ranking on the Bayanihan SEO Contest for the keyword Paradise Philippines & here are the results for MSN, Google & Yahoo.

The best ranking that I got was at MSN, my Paradise Philippines official entry was on the 3^rd page at rank no. 26.

On Google, this blog was at the 10^th page at no. 99.

While my entry placed badly on Yahoo Search Engine, it was at page 20, placing 195^th.

Based on the official rules, I garnered a total of 18 points (17 for MSN, 1 for Google & 0 for Yahoo rankings), the first checkpoint happened last November 30, 2007, which I didn’t place well. My goal is to get a better placing for the keyword Paradise Philippines on these 3 search engines before (and during) the second & third (final) checkpoints. The second checkpoint will be on February 01, 2008 & the contest will end on May 2, 2008.

I haven’t check my current standing on the keyword Paradise Philippines at Yahoo, I hope I will rank well.

When I joined the last 2 contest, MSN have been my waterloo, I can’t understand MSN’s algorithm. Anyways, this is to tests MSN’s response on my Paradise Philippines entry.

More worthwhile entries next time.

As of today, my entry hasn’t entered Google’s top 100 search result on the keyword Paradise Philippines. Needs to work harder on this.

This is the third time that I joined this kind of contest, I have never been that successful in the past, but there’s no harm in trying as they say.

This contest is close to my since I am a frustrated photographer & I do wish to travel. Here, I’d be sharing the photos of my previous (or maybe my future) travels, the places in this paradise land the Philippines.

I do wish to win but if not, I’ll continue sharing the beauty of the Philippines in this blog.
