Was there a glitch on Akismet 2.1.7?
One thing I love about the recent Wordpress versions is the automatic plug-ins update. It made my life easier when ever I wanna update the plug-ins in my blogs.
Yesterday, I noticed that an upgrade was available for Akismet anti-spam, I immediately updated my version to version 2.1.7, I believe it was successful.
Funny thing is what happened this morning, I checked on my spam queue, imagine it was 125 spams (f*ck spam!), so I did what I normally do, I would click the “Delete All” button, to my surprise, it was not deleted. I tried it for the second time and it was the same, and the same for my third try.
Next thing I know, there’s a newer version, a 2.1.8, it made me think, why so fast? Was there a glitch on the 2.1.7 version of Akismet?
