Wordpress 2.5.1 Announcement
Wordpress announced the release of it’s newest version 2.5.1 last April 25, 2008, according to the website:
Version 2.5.1 of WordPress is now available. It includes a number of bug fixes, performance enhancements, and one very important security fix. We recommend everyone update immediately, particularly if your blog has open registration. The vulnerability is not public but it will be shortly.
It has been over a week when I upgraded to version 2.5, I always wait for the Fantastico auto-update whenever it is available. It might take another week or 2 before it’ll be available, until then I’ll just wait & see, Wordpress’ think tank might find new bugs by that time.
